Between sensuality and theatricality: three leading contemporary choreographers meet the young dancers of Ballet Geneva's junior company. In this double bill, the Ballet Junior de Genève presents moments of dance at the highest level. To the sounds of J.S. Bach's violin concertos, Imre and Marne van Opstal explore fleeting yet intense encounters, movements and emotions in their choreography. The works of the Dutch sibling duo are sophisticated total works of art in which visual and performing arts merge in a unique way. In Rooster, Barak Marshall depicts the story of a young man trapped in a dream world in a humorous and playful way. Inspired by vaudeville elements and surreal imagery, the play invites you to enjoy the moment and follow your dreams.

For over two decades, the OsterTanzTage have been bringing contemporary dance from all over the world to Hanover and transforming the opera house into a vibrant festival center for a whole week. Whether dance theater or ballet, contemporary or classical - there is something for everyone here.
