In his choreography, Thierry Malandain juxtaposes two contrasting perspectives: humanity's despair at the irretrievable passing of the seasons and the sublime constancy of their natural renewal. Les Saisons interweaves Vivaldi's The Four Seasons with Giovanni Antonio Guido's composition of the same name to create a poetic reflection on transience and rebirth.

For over two decades, the OsterTanzTage have been bringing contemporary dance from all over the world to Hanover and transforming the opera house into a vibrant festival center for a week. Whether dance theater or ballet, contemporary or classical - there is something for everyone here.
