OWN YOUR BONES

OWN YOUR BONES (DE/CH/LV) received the Avignon Jazz Award immediately after its formation and released its debut album on the Klaengrecords label of the renowned Klaeng collective. At numerous concerts in Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Denmark, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium, the band has already presented its music to a consistently enthusiastic audience - both at festivals and on club stages - in collaboration with partners such as the Goethe-Institut, jazzahead!, the Musikfonds and the Initiative Musik.

Complex musical themes and spectral sounds characterize the music, as well as free improvisation and folkloristic melodies. With their urge for playful freedom, OWN YOUR BONES transform the compositions into an emotional, authentic concert experience between powerful expression and complex sound confrontation.
