Oyèmi Noize is a Berlin musician who has carved out a unique place for herself in the contemporary music landscape. What began as the Bedroom Project found its way onto the stage through a collaboration with their no longer imaginary friends "The Sad Girls". They played their first concert at the legendary SO36 in Berlin as support for their Berlin friends Pabst on their "Crushed by the Weight of the World" Tour Homecoming. With a sound that combines introspective vulnerability with moments of fierce energy, Oyèmi Noize & The Sad Girls deliver a sonic experience that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.

Their music fearlessly explores themes of heartbreak, resilience, mental health, empowerment, identity and community, often with a raw honesty that connects directly to listeners' own experiences. The sound of Oyèmi Noize & The Sad Girls is characterized by melancholic melodies and driving rhythms. Catchy hooks with an alternative twist meet introspective lyrics that paint vivid pictures, a dynamic range that keeps listeners on their toes. Imagine American football and The Smashing Pumpkins with a pinch of Mannequin Pussy.

"I know it hurts but trust me we will be ok," says Oyèmi Noize. "The world is a scary place, but we're not in it alone, and as long as we stick together, stand up against injustice and raise our voices, fight the good fight, nothing is lost!"

Oyèmi Noize is also involved in projects such as Jaguwar and Yeahrs and regularly tours Europe. With the Sad Girls, she is ready to conquer any stage to share this unfiltered expression of her artistic voice that is both intimate and powerful. Oyèmi Noize & The Sad Girls are preparing their first full-length release in September 2025.
