OYENGA & Klub Konsonanz - Ein Begegnungskonzert

The Hamburg chamber choir Klub Konsonanz is delighted to welcome a visitor from Basel for an encounter concert with OYENGA.

We will sing a few pieces from our new program and OYENGA will treat us to a concert stopover on their way to the European Choir Games in Denmark. So you can look forward to a good mix and, of course, lots of encounters!

From traditional gospel and African-American worksongs to spiritual jazz, world music and modern pop songs. The 40 or so experienced singers of the OYENGA Gospel Choir at Basel Minster will immerse the audience in an atmospheric, energetic but also contemplative stage performance with their diverse program. Inspired by the lively exchange with other choirs, OYENGA tries to interpret gospel in a broad context and to combine cultures and musical styles.
