Oyoyo

In the organizer's words:

"Oyoyo" is the graduation film of Indian filmmaker Chetna Vora, who studied directing at the Konrad Wolf Academy of Film and Television in Babelsberg. Filmed in a hall of residence in Berlin-Karlshorst, students from Chile, Guinea-Bissau, Mongolia, Cuba, Bulgaria and other countries have their say and talk about their experience of living in the GDR. The film is about love, longings and dreams for the future, but also shows how people live together in a transnational space in which music and dance are shared. (Vora, GDR 1980 - FSK 0 - OmeU)
