VIP" stands for a life in the limelight: exclusive parties, first-class flights, bodyguards at the breakfast buffet - at least in the minds of many. Özcan Cosar knows better.
With "VIP", Özcan humorously takes apart the concept of "Very Important Person".
VIP: "Very Irritating Celebrity". As a comedian, he has been performing on the country's biggest stages for years, but in his new show he shows that behind the façade of flash and applause, things often look pretty normal - or pretty absurd.
Who actually decides who is important? And why do some people behave as if they are, even though they simply aren't? At the same time, it draws attention to the real stars of everyday life - people who are never on red carpets, but who form the foundation of our lives together: Nursery nurses, carers for the elderly, parents, parcel carriers, emergency doctors - real heroes in the shadow of the selfie spotlights.
