P A S S I O ’25 Andacht für elektronische und akustische Instrumente

In the organizer's words:

Dear friends, members and supporters,

On Friday, April 11, 2025

at 8 p.m., the music event "Music in Open Dialogue" will once again take place in our cultural center:

P A S S I O '25

Devotion for electronic and acoustic instruments

The Passion story as a devotion with electronic and acoustic instruments:

P A S S I O '25 retells the Passion of Jesus in a sonically unusual way. With well-known classical church music, but also with modern, electronic sounds and samples, a contemplative world is created that follows the story and interprets it in a new way. In addition to the narrative and sonic interpretation of the Christian story of suffering, devotion and the individual perception of the universal motifs become the focus of the performance. The new interpretation will be created by church organist Ioannis Zedamanis, saxophonist Alessandro Palmitessa and electronic musician Thomas Machoczek. Participants: Thomas Machoczek, Ioannis Zedamanis, Alessandro Palmitessa Text and concept: Thomas Machoczek
