Pablo Jofré: Straße um Straße

The Chilean poet Pablo Jofré reads from 'Entre tanta calle' / 'Street by Street', his collected poems in German and Spanish. He will be accompanied by Adrian Kasnitz, who will host the evening.

Pablo Jofré, born in Santiago de Chile in 1974, is an author and translator living in Berlin and Madrid. He has published the poetry collections 'Abecedario' (Salc 2009, Siníndice 2012, Cuarto Propio 2016), Lagar Prize of the Chilean National Literary Competition Gabriela Mistral 2009; 'Usted' (Milena Berlin 2013); 'Extranjería' (Cuarto Propio 2017) - which includes the poem LA EDAD LIGERA, part of the action Bombing of poems (Casagrande-Southbank Center) above the Jubilee Garden in London 2012, and LA DANZA DE LA EXISTENCIA, Premio de Poesía 2010 de la Ciudad Sant Andreu de la Barca - and 'Berlín Manila' (L.U.P.I. / Zoográfico 2019), writing grant from the Chilean Ministry of Culture; all included in the anthology 'Entre tanta calle' (Amargord 2020). German translations of the volumes 'Abecedar' (2017), 'Berlin - Manila' (2021) and 'Straße um Straße' (2023) were published by parasitenpresse.
