Hardcore band Pain Of Truth from Long Island, NY, have released their new single "Under My Skin". Focusing on finding the positives in the breakup of toxic friendships, the track features stomping rhythms that eventually lead into a fierce breakdown, which leads to a ruthless mosh pit. The vocals of Michael Smith meet the gruff style of Criminal Instinct's Josiah Hoeflinger for an intense dual vocal attack. The song is the second single, following "Actin' Up" from Pain Of Truth's debut album Not Through Blood, out September 8th on DAZE.
Pain Of Truth have quickly become one of the most exciting true-hardcore bands to emerge in the twenties, known for their intense live shows and hard-hitting lyrics. Following the 2020 EP, No Blame...Just Facts, and a 2021 split with Age Of Apocalypse, Not Through Blood, the band sounds sharper and meaner than ever. Taking things to a collaborative POT's No Blame...Just Facts included six guest vocals and Not Through Blood Blood features as many as thirteen guest contributions. Freddy Cricien of Madball, Scott Vogel of Terror, Justice Tripp of Trapped Under Ice, Vinnie Caruana of The Movielife, Jay Peta of Mindforce and Brendan Garrone of Incendiary are just the tip of the iceberg of those who will lend their voices to the album.
