THE IDEA OF 'PAINT LIKE'

Experience pure art history and practise the techniques of great artists at our new event format "Paint like...". Discover different painting styles and be inspired by art history while creating your own little masterpiece!

In this two-hour event, we will focus on the painting technique of a famous artist. Get to know the impressionist lightness of Claude Monet or discover the cubist sophistication of Pablo Picasso. Immerse yourself in the colorful world of Frida Kahlo or explore the surreal worlds of Salvador Dalí.

ARTIST IN FOCUS: Frida Kahlo

Frida Kahlo (1907-1954) was born in Coyoacán, a district of Mexico City, as the daughter of the Mexican painter Mathilde Calderón de Kahlo and the German photographer Carl Wilhelm Kahlo (1871-1941). Baptized Magdalena Carmen Frieda, she had three sisters and two half-sisters from her father's previous marriage. The painter, who later became so celebrated, received her artistic influence from her father. He taught Frida how to observe nature closely, how to take and develop photographs and how to retouch.

We will tell you exactly how she was able to celebrate her breakthrough at the upcoming event.

COURSE OF THE EVENT

• We start the evening with a frothy aperitif - which we will of course introduce to you in more detail.
• Afterwards, it's all about the artist - first of all, there will be exciting background information about his life, work and, of course, the various painting techniques.
• Afterwards, you can experiment with brushes and canvas yourself under our guidance.
• During the event, there will be three other wines to taste in addition to the sparkling wine.
• At the end of the event, you can present your masterpiece to the group.
