Explore the raw energy and expressive power of one of the most influential artists in contemporary art at our two-hour event "Paint Like Jean-Michel Basquiat".
Immerse yourself in the urban, rebellious world of Basquiat, who revolutionized the art scene of the 80s with his wild brushstrokes, cryptic symbols and haunting colors. Discover how Basquiat used influences from graffiti, jazz, poetry and African-American culture to create an unmistakable visual language that continues to inspire today.

In this Paint Like event, you will get to know the characteristic elements of Basquiat's style: from his raw lines, his recurring signs and words to the intense color combinations that make his works so vibrant. With us, you can create your own work in the style of Jean-Michel Basquiat - inspired by his unadulterated expressiveness and urban aesthetic.

The idea

Experience pure art history and practise the techniques of great artists at our "Paint Like a Master" event format. Discover different painting styles and be inspired by art history as you create your own little masterpiece!

In this two-hour event, we will focus on the painting technique of a famous artist. Get to know the impressionist lightness of Claude Monet, discover the cubist sophistication of Pablo Picasso or immerse yourself in the colorful world of Frida Kahlo. And this time: bring the raw street art energy of Basquiat to your canvas!

Schedule of the event

We start the evening with a frothy aperitif - which we will of course introduce to you in more detail.
Afterwards, it's all about the artist: we'll provide exciting background information on Jean-Michel Basquiat's life, his works and his unmistakable technique. Afterwards, you can experiment with brushes, pencils and canvas under our guidance and create your own Basquiat.
In addition to the sparkling wine, three other wines will be available for tasting during the event. At the end, you can present your work to the group and exchange ideas with other participants.
