On their second album "Snapshot Of Pure Attention", the Berlin avant-garde pop trio Painting gives AI a human voice and will be taking it on tour in April!

A breathtakingly unpredictable collision of punk energy, math-rock time signatures, driving techno beats, expressive free-jazz saxophone solos, powerful synthesizers and overflowing call-and-response vocals: "Snapshot Of Pure Attention" is the intoxicating second album from Berlin trio Painting. It is the rightly eagerly awaited follow-up to their highly acclaimed debut album "Painting Is Dead" from 2022, for which they were hailed by Rolling Stone as "the greatest new band currently to be found in the German pop avant-garde".

"Snapshot Of Pure Attention" draws its influences curiously and fearlessly from everywhere - from Omar Souleyman to Billie Eilish, from Derya Yildirim to lyrics generated by Google's AI language model LaMDA. All of this is patiently and meticulously refined and finally woven into 36 minutes of exquisitely controlled sonic chaos.
