#LeaveNoOneBehind and SCORING GIRLS* invite you to a special evening on July 4 at 7 p.m. in the THF Tower at Tempelhof Airport: a talk about the social power of sport - followed by a joint public viewing of the European Women's Football Championship. What can sport do - for people who have had to flee, who have to arrive anew, who are looking for stability again?

Sport can give courage, create a sense of belonging and boost self-confidence. It can build bridges where language is still lacking. It can open up spaces - in clubs, circles of friends, new life plans.

But what happens when young people who have experienced flight and exclusion come up against barriers - in sports clubs, institutions and society?

We talk about what is often overlooked: The realities of life for young people who have to overcome barriers in societies and fight for access - and about how real participation can succeed.

We will be joined by guests from civil society, sport and clubs - the focus will be on perspectives that are otherwise rarely heard.

After the panel, we will watch the European Championship match between Germany and Poland together. An evening that touches, encourages - and connects.

The evening supports two projects that show what empowerment looks like in practice:

Boat Collective Athens - a creative community space for young people with and without a refugee background.

SCORING GIRLS*- a soccer project with an educational focus that promotes equal opportunities and social participation.
