The Infocenter Berlin TXL is offering a workshop for children and young people aged 8 and over. It is about sustainable building for the future in a playful and creative approach to the culture of living, the different forms of construction, spatial concepts and the corresponding questions about the future:

What is architecture? What does a city need? What materials could we use to build in the future? And what does your sustainable architecture look like? Gluing, drawing, cutting, experimenting. Try it out and join in!

You can take the results of your work home with you afterwards.

The workshop is part of the supporting program of our exhibition "MATERIAL CULTURE BERLIN TXL 2024. A building for the future" at the Infocenter Berlin TXL. Find out why the architecture of the former Tegel Airport was so innovative and how this location is now being transformed into a place of innovation. The question " Building for the future - how does that actually work?

Drop-in workshop. Just come along between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. and join in for as long as you like. Have fun!

The workshop is an open, unsupervised offer where parents or guardians are responsible for supervision.

Participation is free of charge. No registration required.
