Parkside Sessions: Ahmed Eid, Juno

It's the second to last Parkside Sessions of the season, and we are happy to present two very special artists: Ahmed Eid and Juno.

Parkside Sessions is Orangerie Neukölln's live music series, dedicated to showcasing diverse, up-and-coming talents on Wednesdays.

Ahmed Eid is a pioneering Palestinian artist blending traditional Arabic rhythms with global influences to create soul-stirring music. Co-founder of the acclaimed band Bukahara, he has spent two decades in Europe crafting eclectic sounds as a bassist, percussionist, and singer-songwriter. In 2024, he launched his solo career with the EP Aghani Akhira أغاني اخيرة (Last Songs), tackling personal and global issues like patriarchal violence and colonialism. Beyond music, he nourishes emerging talents through the Palestine Music Space in Ramallah, offering free music education and recording facilities to young Palestinian musicians.

Jannah Emam, aka Juno, is an Egyptian singer, songwriter, and producer blending dream-pop, indie, jazz, and experimental sounds. Known for her tender voice and ethereal productions, Juno's music explores themes of resilience and empowerment. Her 2020 debut EP Immerse resonated across Cairo and beyond, leading to performances at major festivals like XP Music Futures. Now based in Berlin, Juno continues to refine her craft, crafting ethereal soundscapes that are both intimate and transcending time and space. Her new EP is coming summer 2025.
