Parkside Sessions is Orangerie Neukölln's new live music series, dedicated to showcasing diverse, up-and-coming talents on Wednesdays. Next up on stage, we present Laura Grandy and SOPHE.
Laura Grandy is German-born singer-songwriter whose music invites listeners into realms of dreams and groove. With songs dedicated to taking off, her work showcases her ability to escape into different worlds. Over the past decade, Laura has absorbed the cultural richness of various European capitals, deeply influencing her eclectic sound, which blends jazz, pop, singer-songwriter, and R&B with catchy melodies. Her international band enhances her music with organic instruments, spicy horn lines, and captivating piano solos. Her debut album "All These Feelings" came out last November and we are looking forward to hear it live with Orangerie's warm backdrop.
To warm up the stage is SOPHE. With years of experience working on a variety of musical projects, SOPHE's music is a fusion of her wide-ranging genres and influences. Her clear, warm lead voice floats over interlocking backing vocals, whether wrapped in melancholic balladry or embedded in groove-laden jams. With that, SOPHE's music always pushes the boundaries of genres
