A sonic trip around the world in downtempo: this is how Berlin DJ and producer Nicolas Demuth, alias Parra for Cuva, made it to number six in the British singles charts. When piano, steel drum and kalimba enter the dancefloor at the same time, there are no boundaries between pop, house and world music.
