Alice Rende dances with gravity. In a narrow glass tower, she performs her solo Passages, as breathtaking as it is humorous. Flexibility is her strength: she contorts herself, jumps, climbs, slides down and fights her way up again - towards a narrow opening at the top of the glass box, towards freedom.

The glass creates distance and closeness at the same time - is she far away or are we close? Is she locked up or protected?

The Brazilian artist is a contortionist, an extremely agile person. Her skills make an almost unthinkable journey of movement through this glass object possible. However, she is not interested in the spectacular nature of her movements, but in feelings - between the need for protection, being enclosed, emancipation and liberation.

The glass box is also her instrument. The sounds that arise from her contact with the Plexiglas form the basis of the soundtrack. The audience sits all around this extraordinary performance, which amazes adults and children alike.
