"Digga, I just kind of, I just kind of thought I was in the mood for a streetcar ride and then I waved around on a map and then I drove there and there was just nothing, there was a highway - or I don't know, a country road, and then a campus and - fuck now it's raining -"

"Passt schon mami - wir bluten nur" is a musical reading about two journeys: One through West Germany and the other through East Germany. Calixto and Henry let themselves be guided by chance and stumble through cities and villages in Germany for a month with the €9 ticket. They send each other pictures, texts and voice messages and together develop a kaleidoscope of fleeting impressions somewhere between fact and fiction, filled with encounters, overheard conversations and local news.

Only three years have passed between 2022 and today and yet the world seems different. What has remained the same? What can no longer be compared?

Together with actress Valerie Martin, this contemporary-historical document will now be read and sung once again.
