On Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 3 to 6 p.m., British-born singer-songwriter Paul Gough will be a guest at the KAWAII Restaurant in Modehaus Klingenthal. As part of the established KAWAII cultural series, which is organized in cooperation with Tonika e.V., Gough will present a musical program that delves deep into his personal biography.

The native Scot, who was already familiar with the guitar in his youth, can look back on a long career as the frontman of various rock and cover bands - including the nationally renowned AC/DC cover band CHEAPDIRT and the German Scotch Band, with whom he interprets classics by Bryan Adams, Eric Clapton, Johnny Cash and others.

Today, Paul Gough performs as a solo artist - with a quieter, more reflective tone. His songs tell of his childhood and youth in Scotland, of his years in the British Army in Germany, of people, encounters and experiences that have shaped him. Stylistically, Gough moves between folk, blues and acoustic rock - with honest lyrics and melodic maturity.

In keeping with the concert, the KAWAII kitchen will be serving a sharing platter inspired by British classics.
In addition to modern interpretations of elements such as fish & chips, small pies or spicy dips, guests can expect a culinary experience that combines British soul with KAWAII quality - served to share and enjoy.

The concert will take place in the stylish lounge atmosphere of the KAWAII restaurant on the 2nd floor of Modehaus Klingenthal.
