L'Harmonie De Notre Absence is a performance project at the interface of art and science. Its central research theme is the idea of terrestrial landscapes after the end of human activity.
Based on scientific, geological and climatological data, rotating dioramas depict these possible futures. The end of humanity is viewed here from a poetic perspective - through a video ballad within these moving dioramas.
A hacked record player enables the playback of these audiovisual 33-tour records, decorated with models on the A-side and music on the B-side. The performance offers a double perception: on the one hand the physical models on stage, on the other hand the live camera image projected on a giant screen.
