PEATLAND

plays Nordish Country. This is New Country from the North for the North. There are no truck stop or Tom Astor sounds to be heard here, inspired by a closeness to nature and the longing for freedom, the band has taken its very own country path. The songs tell of rough nights in the honky-tonks, of dusty roads and wild adventures. Peatland combines the energy of rock with the melancholy of folk and the heart and soul of country. Even if the band's name is more reminiscent of rubber boots than cowboy boots: With driving rhythms, cheeky lyrics and a pinch of North German humor, Peatland challenges listeners to leave everyday life behind and enjoy life to the fullest.

This concert is a hat concert, which means that YOU as a guest decide what amount you think is appropriate and put in the hat. There is no rule for this, you alone decide. A little tip: musicians create their works, rehearse and come to us at the venue! Musicians love "spotlights" and any amount is welcome - just like you! We accept cash or EC cash! The amount goes 100% to the musicians on the same evening.
