In the organizer's words:

In this exhibition, the works of Manor Grunewald (Ghent, BE), Tiziana Krüger (Berlin, DE) and Sabrina Podemski (Düsseldorf, DE) will be presented for the first time at Kunsthaus Essen.

The three artists are united by their engagement with questions of image theory and aesthetics, which move between the media of painting, sculpture, photography, installation, different materials and the reception by the viewer.
