Performance: Caterina Palazzi - ZALESKA
The night will be dark, hypnotic, transformative.
Italian bassist Caterina Palazzi takes the audience into a musical world of shadows with her solo project ZALESKA - inspired by the myth of Dracula.
Each composition is dedicated to a depiction of Dracula in film history. The result is a dark sound ritual of bass, noise and psychedelic loops. ZALESKA is not a musical concert in the conventional sense, but a physically tangible experience - a sound journey between tension, transformation and cathartic discharge.
ZALESKA is also a feminist change of perspective: the main character is the illegitimate daughter of Vlad Țepeș, the historical Dracula - independent, rebellious, unredeemed.
----
From the nostalgic rock sound of the 60s to the poetic treatment of the Yugoslavian war to the experimental Dracula sound performance, the festival spans the arc from past to present to dark fiction.
Šta ima! - Ništa. asks: What has remained? What continues to have an effect? And how does art respond?
Come along, bring friends - and experience an evening of remembrance, music, literature and sound experiments.
