Performing Archives: Bewegung/Loslassen / Ausstellung

In the organizer's words:

"Performing Archives" explores the concept of archives and how personal and collective stories can be documented, shared and transformed into art. The exhibition shows works from the community workshop that took place at the Alte Feuerwache as part of the Planet Ears Festival 2024. The BiPoC workshop combines hands-on artistic activities with conversations about the importance of archiving in marginalized groups in the region. Artists from the community will archive personal stories in media such as textiles, sound collages, sketches, personal photos, everyday objects or poetry, creating their own archives.
