PETER HEPPNER und WIEGAND

Big events cast their shadows ahead - including the release of the new album by two-time Echo winner Peter Heppner. This time, however, the exceptional artist is offering a "look over his shoulder" at his work. For the first time ever, the music legend is presenting large parts of the new work live, on a tour with his long-standing band and in full concert length. After successful acoustic tours and countless tanzZwang events across the country, this is finally the chance to experience the thoroughbred musician and his band doing what they love best: playing good concerts. In addition to many of his past successes and collaborations as a solo artist, with Wolfsheim, Schiller or Witt, to name but a few, the artist will now be performing a selection of songs from his new album, which is due to be released next year, for the first time.

Wiegand is a synthpop/darkwave band from Pulheim near Cologne and consists of Helge Wiegand and Jens Domgörgen. Wiegand's songs are poppy, melancholic, danceable and guaranteed to be catchy and sing-along hits. In 2018, the debut album was released under the name "Released" with the single "Floating Away", with remixes by Frozen Plasma, Mental Discipline and T.O.Y. In spring 2023, the single "Pied Pipers" was released with club remixes by Rob Dust, Mental Discipline and Brigade Enzephalon as a precursor to the long-awaited second album "Arrived", which was released shortly afterwards and spent three consecutive weeks at number 1 on the GEWC.
