Peter Traber devotes himself to Peter Hölderlin's unfinished drama "The Death of Empedocles" in an absurd and touchingly funny way. As the first environmental drama, the work deals with the philosophical and existential questions of life. The actor delivers a brilliant one-man-one-tree show that doesn't quite manage without the help of the audience. The incredible talent for improvisation takes the audience on his journey into Hölderlin's verses in a rousing, crazy and funny way.
