Peter Wieler "Mütter & Töchter. Väter & Söhne"

Photographer Peter Wieler realized his first ambitious multi-generational project "Fathers and Sons" in 2020/2021, followed by "Mothers and Daughters" in 2022-2024. For this project, he approached people from his personal environment or found them through tips from good friends. He created family portraits ranging from double portraits to group portraits spanning four generations, of well-known and unknown people. Individually and as a whole, they tell us a lot about social and intra-family role models.

Both series have since been published in impressive book form and are now being brought together for the first time in an exhibition.
