Inspired by the exhibition Further Reductions by Nina Könnemann at Haus am Waldsee, participants in this workshop will immerse themselves in the world of Stone Age craft techniques. Using methods from experimental archaeology, they will learn how to make tools from obsidian and flint - such as arrowheads, as they were made thousands of years ago. Step by step, basic principles of fracture mechanics are taught and various stone working techniques are tested in practice.
