Pflanzen für den guten Zweck 2025

In the organizer's words:

"Noah & Friends - Plants for a good cause" is a volunteer-organized fundraising campaign in which thousands of plants will be sold for a small donation in the parking lot at Rumelner TV in Duisburg on 14 and 15 June 2025. The plants come from the range of the plant marketer Green Happens and were provided free of charge by various horticultural businesses after a trade fair.

Behind the campaign is 14-year-old Noah, who was seriously ill himself and knows from his own experience how important support is. Together with his family, Rumelner TV and many dedicated helpers, he wants to give something back. All proceeds will go to the Kolibri - Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Deutschland e. V. association. Kolibri fulfills so-called heart's desires and provides, among other things, mobile learning robots with which affected children can take part in lessons even during longer hospital stays.

Rumelner TV, one of the largest sports clubs in the west of Duisburg, supports the project with its local reach and helps with the organization.

In addition to a large selection of plants, drinks and snacks are also available on site. The campaign thrives on people's participation and commitment - whether through a donation, a visit or sharing the campaign on social media. Any support helps to reach as many families with seriously ill children as possible.
