Pfund - Vier Männer ein PFUND

Pound is a unit. A unit of measurement. But also, and above all, a unit of four guys.

Four Pfund guys who, in addition to their friendship, have one thing in particular in common: a heavy tendency towards a powerful sound. This is precisely why their well-balanced set lists also include heavyweights of rock music. It's all about the rock'n'roll of the past four decades, from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kings Of Leon to Oasis, Jimi Hendrix, The Killers and Nirvana. The somewhat different mainstream, daringly powerful and full of energy. Drums, guitar, bass and vocals form a sound that captures and unleashes the audience at both small club gigs and large open-air events.

The dynamics of this band can be felt right down to the last row at every concert. Since the beginning of 2009, the four-man band has built up a considerable fan base in a very short space of time Why? Because PFUND love and live rock'n'roll, because they are authentic, because they always create a sweaty atmosphere in the audience and because you can't miss the fact that they simply really enjoy what they do. The jury of the "Hessen Rockt" band competition recognized this quality back in 2010.

PFUND came second out of almost 100 applicants for the title of "Hessen's best cover band". This brought the quartet an enormous response and since then bookings throughout Germany (Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, Berlin etc.).
