'Mindfuck' means confusion with method. And the confusion is there. It haunts the socially deprived media and can be found on the green-washed supermarket shelves; where newspaper ducks used to swim, alternative truths now croak. How are we supposed to distinguish between fiction and faction?

In the age of disinformation, we don't need anyone else to make fun of us - we do it ourselves. The main thing is the net. Time to lead us astray! Philipp Scharrenberg doesn't believe in artificial intelligence - he prefers to make intelligent art. For thinking along. Because he is someone who looks closely. An am-scab nibbler, a tooth-feeler, somewhere between a child's head and an enlightener, who always asks: "Why?" As an obsessive-compulsive neurotic, he knows how society ticks and which buttons he has to press to make it fidget.

With a lot of wit and heart and full physical exertion, he explores their mental aberrations and motives in order to bring clarity where there is confusion in the brain. In his fifth program, he is once again supported by his great love: language. Rhyming, writing poetry, with songs, radio plays and stand-up, he shows how difficult it is to be sure of one's own opinion today. Not a 'them up there' cabaret, but a 'us down here' cabaret, awarded the German Cabaret Prize 2023. A 'mindfuck' - but tender.
