Composer, singer and oud virtuoso Kamilya Jubran is one of the leading personalities of the experimental Arabic music scene. Her music thrives on the constant tension between tradition and innovation, between the local and the global. Trumpeter and sound researcher Werner Hasler is known for his interactive electronic music. The two weave their different influences into a unique tapestry of sound.

El Khat

Named after the stimulating plant, EL KHAT ignites a raw, hypnotic sound experience. The Israeli trio combines Yemeni folk from the 60s with trance-like rock - deeply rooted in Arabic music culture.
