Oldenburg, August 9, 2025 - The Picknickkonzerte Oldenburg are delighted to announce another musical highlight: Tim Bendzko will be performing at Utkiek Park in Oldenburg on August 9, 2025. Admission is at 19:00, the concert starts at 20:00. Tickets are available online at www.ticketticker.de from Friday, March 21, 2025, at 12:00 noon. Support will be provided by the band Kuult.

Tim Bendzko, born on April 9, 1985 in East Berlin, is a German singer-songwriter who achieved national fame with his hit "Nur noch kurz die Welt retten" in 2011. His debut album Wenn Worte meine Sprache wären reached number four in the German charts and went platinum. This was followed by further successful albums such as Am seidenen Faden (2013) and Immer noch Mensch (2016), which cemented his position as one of the leading artists in German pop music. His sensitive lyrics and melodic compositions appeal to a wide audience and sell out concerts throughout the German-speaking world.

Tim Bendzko has shaped contemporary German pop music like almost no other artist of his generation. But the Berlin native is more than just a brilliant singer. Songwriter. He is a musician, painter, marathon man, filmmaker - and also a very knowledgeable expert on soccer. In 2024, for example, he wrote the official MagentaTV EM song "Komm schon". He was also part of the line-up for the hit show "Sing meinen Song!" in 2024

On this evening, Tim will give a very intimate picnic concert in trio formation.

As a special highlight, the Essen pop band Kuult will open the evening as support with a 20-minute acoustic show. The band, consisting of Chris Werner (vocals/guitar) and Christian De Crau (bass/synthesizer), have been delighting audiences with their catchy melodies and authentic lyrics since their formation in 2013. With their energetic performance, they will get the audience in the mood for an unforgettable concert evening.
