There are bands that conquer the world with a single song and those that manage to turn that first moment into a lasting success. Picture This undoubtedly belongs to the second category. Since 2015, the Irish quartet has been delighting fans with its unmistakable mix of alternative pop, indie and folk-pop - a sound that not only delivers catchy tunes, but also tells stories that go straight to the heart.

The first big breakthrough came in 2015 with the single "Take My Hand". What began as a cell phone recording quickly developed into a viral hit that achieved over four million views on social media. A short time later, the band was formed, consisting of lead singer and guitarist Ryan Hennessy, drummer Jimmy Rainsford, guitarist Owen Cardiff and bassist Cliff Deane. Their first EP, simply called "Picture This EP", reached number 1 in the Irish charts in 2016 - a success that was continued with their debut album "Picture This" in 2017. The follow-up "Mdrn Lv", which was released in 2019, also confirmed that the band is far more than a short-term phenomenon.

Their latest work, "Parked Car Conversations", is the band's most ambitious project to date. Thematically, the album moves in very personal spheres, as it is dedicated to the challenges that Ryan Hennessy has had to overcome in recent years. The songs are haunting, full of empathy and at the same time characterized by a refreshing lightness. Musically, the band remains true to itself, but expands its typical pop-rock sound with new, finely tuned nuances. Catchy guitar harmonies meet melodic hooks, while anthemic choruses and Hennessy's unmistakable voice lend the songs emotional depth.

But as impressive as their studio work is, Picture This unleash their true power on stage. Live, they prove time and time again why they are considered one of the best alternative pop bands of our time. Their trademark: incredible energy and the ability to take their fans with them every second of the way. The highlight of their touring career so far was in 2019, when they became the first band ever to sell out the 3Arena in Dublin five times in a row. After the pandemic, they made a triumphant return in 2023, with sold-out shows and acclaimed festival appearances across Europe.

Now Picture This are bringing their electrifying live presence to Germany. Fans can experience the band at four concerts in summer 2025: on July 3 in Friedrichshafen, on July 5 in Frankfurt, on August 5 in Hamburg and on August 7 in Gersthofen. If you want to be there, you should hurry - tickets promise to sell out just as quickly as the concerts in recent years.
