Pigor has written a book: La Groete - Don't say cabaret! An adventure novel from the world of cabaret, with crazy digressions, puns, full of events in front of, on and behind the stage: places where Pigor & Eichhorn know their way around. The book is set in post-reunification Berlin. At the end of the 20th century, the devil wants to make another old-school pact and promises the chansonnier La Groete the German Cabaret Prize in exchange for his soul. But with the cultural representative of a health insurance company, he has an equal opponent. Eichhorn, who reinvents himself in the role of literary critic, develops into the master of the evening and tries to critically scrutinize Pigor. But he always has to return to the piano to accompany the chansons that the two wrote in the cabaret days in which the novel is set. La Groete - don't say cabaret! - an evening of salon hip-hop by Pigor & Eichhorn and a devilishly bizarre expedition into the creative milieu of Berlin during the years of reunification.
