"Pinke Monster" - Comiclesung und Werkstattgespräch

Comic reading & workshop discussion
at Café Boxenstopp!

Comic author and illustrator Claus Daniel Herrmann reads from his graphic novel "Pinke Monster". In it, he tells the story of the shy boy Frank, who comes into contact with a spiritual healer. She is supposed to help the depressed father without chemicals, but comes with her very own instruction leaflet. It's about healing stones, energies, a gay coming out and the search for trust!

The comic was published by Reprodukt in November 2024 and was a finalist for the Leibinger Comic Book Prize.

The comic reading is like an illustrated radio play that unfolds its very own pull with the image sequences from the comic, spoken dialog and sounds - difficult to explain, but very effective!

The event will be hosted by Cologne-based designer and illustrator Alejandro W. Lizano.
