With one of Johann Sebastian Bach's most expressive and modern keyboard works, the Partita in E minor, Piotr Anderszewski opens a piano matinee that bears his signature. The star pianist is not afraid of extremes: Bach's music sounds fabulous, headstrong and poetic. With this individuality, he also builds sonorous bridges to the modern music of his Polish compatriot Karol Szymanowski and to Béla Bartók.
