Plein Air - Freilichtmalerei im Botanischen Garten

The park as an open studio:
Plants and trees and blossoms - nature offers motifs full of movement and stillness, light and shadow, colors, shapes and textures. They invite close observation. In this way, paintings are created in the open air that capture the surroundings and sharpen the eye. With reduced materials, working in the landscape becomes a concentrated, yet open encounter between perception and expression.

Katja Preuß-Reisdorf invites you to a late summer painting workshop in the Düsseldorf Botanical Garden!
In - hopefully - fine weather, she and her participants will explore the variety of floral forms and capture them with watercolors.
