We invite you: Our panel discussion will bring together top candidates from the Freiburg constituency and representatives of local public interest companies. With a view to the upcoming Bundestag elections and the new legislative period, we will talk together about the needs and potential of the economy for the common good.

What it's about

"In the face of profound social and ecological [...] changes, future shapers are needed [...]. Companies oriented towards the common good make an indispensable contribution to this." (From the preamble of the National Strategy for Social Innovation and Companies for the Common Good)

Companies for the common good are not defined purely by profit, but by their social impact: e.g. fair supply chains, climate-neutral products and good working conditions. In this way, central social needs are addressed and employment and financial prosperity are ensured at the same time.

We want to discuss this together: What framework conditions are needed to develop this potential impact? How can we develop these further and thus meet social and ecological challenges?
