Poetry Slam - Literarischer Wettbewerb

In the organizer's words:

Poetry slam is cult! The modern literary competition has long since established itself as a full-length format in German-speaking countries.

Creative poets compete against each other with self-written texts within a time limit of six minutes each. Neither props nor costumes may be used; it is all about the artists, the texts and the performance. At the end, the audience is the jury and decides who wins by scoring points and applause during the course of the evening. Due to the variety of topics and texts, each poetry slam is unique: the texts performed range from profound poetry and biting observations to funny or bizarre storytelling - you are in for a surprise.

This year's ganzOhr Poetry Slam welcomes the following artists to the stage: Anuraj Sri Rajarajendran (Landau), Rainer Holl (Leipzig), Evgenija Kosov (Bochum), Aileen Schneider (Frankfurt am Main), Aidin Halimi (Berlin), Lena Stokoff (Stuttgart). The evening will be hosted by multiple poetry slam award winner Kathi Hopf.
