AN EVENING BETWEEN POETRY, HUMOR AND SERIOUSNESS
Moderator: Lukas Knoben (author, slammer, Satznachvorn Aachen)
Jury: The audience!
As part of the exhibition "Da(zwischen-)sein", we invite you to a very special poetry slam at the Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum together with Satznachvorn Aachen. The event combines contemporary literature with visual art and brings young voices to the stage to explore the theme of the exhibition from a literary perspective.
The invited slammers will deal with "being in-between" in all its facets. It will be poetic, political, humorous and touching.
Poetry slam stands for diversity and spontaneity: from cabaret satire to eloquent social criticism and sensitive poetry, anything is possible. The rules are simple: self-written texts, without props, within a fixed time frame. And at the end, the audience decides who wins the evening.
The evening will be hosted by Lukas Knoben, presenter, author and poetry slammer from Aachen. With his charming manner, he will guide you through the evening, introduce the slammers and ensure an exciting literary competition.
