Poetry Slam Schwedt

In the organizer's words:

Four times a year, word artists from Berlin and all over Germany meet the local poetry scene at the Poetry Slam Schwedt. Whether poem, short story, stand-up comedy or rap - everything is allowed here, as long as the text is self-written, without costumes and props, and does not exceed the time limit of 6 minutes.

With the support of the Kiezpoeten and Berlin poetry slammer Ortwin Bader-Iskraut, the Uckermärkische Bühnen have been hosting a poetry battle between amateur writers and slam professionals since 2018.

The audience decides who wins the evening and fills the winner's bag with their own paraphernalia, love letters and telephone numbers.

The stage is open to everyone! At the Box Office or by email at kiezpoeten.com/offene-liste, brave performers can sign up for the open list and compete against the competition from Berlin and Uckermark at the Poetry Slam Schwedt.
