Extraordinary and poignant: POISON - A LOVE STORY is an emotionally moving drama that deals with relationships, grief and how individuals deal with them. With great sensitivity, director Désirée Nosbusch directs Trine Dyrholm (DIE KOMMUNE, IN EINER BESSEREN WELT, KÖNIGIN) and Tim Roth (ROB ROY, "Lie to me", JUGEND OHNE JUGEND) in a masterful performance in front of the camera of award-winning cinematographer Judith Kaufmann. The modern adaptation is based on the internationally highly successful play "Gift. A Marriage Story" by Lot Vekemans.
