Polaris – Das Rätsel der Polarnacht

In the organizer's words:

James, a penguin from the South Pole traveling around the world, meets polar bear Vladimir in the icy world of the North Pole. Together they look at the stars, wonder about the length of the polar nights and realize that they want to know more about them. Together they build the Polaris spaceship and embark on a turbulent space adventure. While exploring Mars, Saturn and Earth, they discover differences and similarities between the planets. Looking at the Earth from space, they finally find out why the nights are sometimes long and then so short again.

The internationally award-winning show was produced by the Planetarium St. Etienne, France. In the supporting program, we take a look at the current starry sky.
