Bei den Linken A play by and with Riadh Ben Ammar

When if not now? With this question in mind, Riadh Ben Ammar tells of his encounters with the left-wing scene in Germany. He holds up a mirror to it with the necessary seriousness and sufficient humor: The play tells of misunderstandings and common political struggles over 20 years. The play sets important demands and visions against everyday life, which is increasingly characterized by right-wing threats.

"Bei den Linken" is part of the "Theater for Freedom of Movement" project, as part of which Riadh has been touring Europe with various plays since 2012. He lives between Tunisia and Germany and is a co-founder of the transnational network Afrique-Europe-Interact. He criticizes the EU's external border and fights for the right to freedom of movement
