Pong

In the organizer's words:

The PONG group meets every Monday at 7 pm to do what its name suggests: Play table tennis!

We usually meet in the club stage or on floor 1 and, weather permitting, in the garden - with cool drinks and background music.

We are not interested in athletic competitions or technically sophisticated playing styles - even if you have never hit a 40 mm plastic ball with a wooden board, you can give it a try here.

Everyone is welcome, but above all we want to have fun and socialize.

Surprisingly, table tennis was not invented in Asia, but in England in 1847. It was not until 1899 that a simplified version reached Japan and subsequently China, Korea and Hong Kong. Under the name Ping Pong, it became the undisputed No. 1 popular sport in China.

In the PONG group, all variants such as singles, doubles and round robin are offered and we are looking for further variations. Help us with this!
