Pop-Up Artistik Festival

In the organizer's words:

Imagine this: You're walking through the city with your shopping and suddenly someone is spinning around in an oversized wheel. And a pantomime clown confuses you with a burning wallet, while another person asks the audience to hold a seven-metre-high pole. From there, she wants to see the world upside down from above. Suddenly you're right in the middle of it. Street art unexpectedly takes you out of your everyday life.

The Pop-Up Artistry Festival brings such an experience to you, in your district. Every year in August, the festival comes to public places and turns them into a stage. In 2025, the route will take you from the city center via Rath and Reisholz to Garath. For eight days, magic will unfold between high-rise buildings and expressways, interrupting your everyday life and enchanting you. And the best thing about it? The shows are free of charge!

Because that's not enough and because your limbs are twitching, you can even try it out for yourself. Alternating with the shows, the festival artists offer you the opportunity to turn your world upside down in workshops! Participation costs just EUR 5 per workshop.
