Pop up Comedy kommt ins Kulturhaus Süd

In the organizer's words:

Comedian and entertainer Lars Hohlfeld has been presenting Germany's funniest comedians at various venues for over 10 years. This is the second time the show format has been hosted at the Kulturhaus Süd (formerly Freizeitstätte Garath).

Many of today's well-known comedians could already be seen in this show before they became stars. With around 70 dates a year, pop-up comedy is an integral part of the cultural scene in NRW and beyond.

On Saturday, March 29, 2025, humor fans can look forward to a very special mix of comedy and cabaret that will delight both younger and older audiences alike. Also taking part are:

Hans-Hermann Thielke, who impresses in his role as a pedantic but lovable retired postal worker. He has achieved national fame through appearances on radio and television as well as on renowned stages in German-speaking countries (e.g. Quatsch Comedy Club, Wetten, dass...?, Verstehen Sie Spaß?, NDR, ARD, etc.) and is a guarantee for fine comedy and all the more indispensable in the German-speaking entertainment landscape.

Fabian Lampert is one of the most interesting new faces on the comedy scene. Half the age of Mario Barth, he is twice as funny. He is passionate about entertaining the audience.

Hildegart Scholten is known for her numerous appearances on ARD Ladies Night. Her videos are clicked thousands of times. The show of the beguilingly headstrong Ms. Scholten is an experience full of emotion.

Özgür Cebe asks the trick question: If Islam does NOT belong to Germany, but East Westphalia does, where does a Rhinelander born in Bielefeld with Turkish roots belong? A balancing act that the award-winning cabaret artist has to perform every day. That hurts. There's only one thing to do: relax. With self-irony and pointed observation, he disarms all the agitators with pure composure. Özgür Cebe does not emphasize his migration background. He has a German operating system, but is trapped in oriental hardware. In principle, he is a flying carpet with a VW engine. Will that work well? Of course!
